1. How does the Pay-as-you-go subscription work?

Simple! 6-month FREE trial. Subscriptions will be setup based on number of registered devices per account. $49/year for up to 50 devices OR $99/year for up to 100 devices. You will receive a subscription invoice by email. Non-payment will simply be handled as a cancelation and devices will be removed from your account. 6-month free trial starts after account creation.

2. Do you offer FREE shipping?

YES! All orders ship via USPS for FREE! If you prefer another carrier we can accommodate that as well, just let us know.

3. How do I register my Raspberry Pi?

Login to your device, change to the /home/raspberrystreet/ directory then type the command below.

$ java -jar rsiothub.jar <registration code>

Your registration code can be found in the web app dashboard under the profile dropdown (upper right corner).

4. Can I purchase a Raspberry Pi from you without the Raspberry Street service?

Absolutely! We sell Pis at great prices, and while they are pre-configured to be compatible with Raspberry Street, you can use them for whatever you want! Our service is free for 1 year, though – so you might as well give us a shot!

5. I’ve already got a Raspberry Pi. Can I still use it with your service?

Of course! You’ll have to go through a few setup steps, though. You’ll have to download the proper image, burn it onto your device, and register it. Learn more about the steps for BYOPi setup here.

6. What OS images do you support and offer for download?

We support Raspbian Stretch and Buster (full and lite) – the same OS images you can find here.

7. Can I use any Pi? What Raspberry Pi devices do you support?

Unfortunately, we don’t support deprecated Raspberry Pi models. Our system was designed with three Pi devices in mind:

• Raspberry Pi Model 4 (all memory variants)
• Raspberry Pi Model B Plus
• Raspberry Pi Model 3 B
• Raspberry Pi Zero W

Don’t have one of those devices? You can buy one from us – with the OS and Raspberry Street pre-installed.

8. Can you just burn my image and keep it for me?

Sure thing, if that’s what you want! We’d be happy to set up your Pis with your selected images. You can even order a Raspberry Pi with your very own custom images pre-loaded and ready to go!

9. Can I get an SD card with a ready-to-go image?

Of course! All of the SD card images from our store are pre-loaded and ready to go, and we sell only the highest quality SD cards. Shop away!

10. What changes are made to the images, compared to the raw OS downloaded from raspberrypi.org?

To be honest, we do very little! All we do is install and set up the agent to run upon the booting of the device, to make Raspberry Street setup a little easier. That’s it, we promise – no funny business.

11. Can I cancel my Raspberry Street licensing subscription? What happens if I do?

Of course you can. If you decide you don’t need to use our services anymore, you can cancel any time. There’s no penalty – we don’t have contracts, after all!

If you do decide to cancel, your devices will be waiting for you should you decide to return!
